David Bragg was born and raised in Sullivan, IL. He is the 9th of 13 children.

David is a graduate of Lake Land Junior College, Mattoon, IL (AA in Accounting), Freed-Hardeman University, Henderson, TN (BA in Bible), and Harding Graduate School of Religion, Memphis, TN (MAR in Communications).  

Beginning local work as a full-time minister, David has worked for four congregations (Woodbridge, VA [as personal evangelist]; Potts Camp, MS; Anderson, IN [Meadowbrook congregation]; Cape Girardeau, MO). After eighteen years with the Cape Girardeau congregation, David retired from full-time work due to Multiple Sclerosis.

He is author of four Bible class study books and maintains websites, blogs, and edits BulletinGold, an email newsletter for church bulletin editors. He married Ann Hogan in 1981 and they now reside in Kernersville, NC. They have two children. Their son, Nathan, is an actuary and lives in Huntersville, NC with his wife, Carissa, and their sons, Aaron and Isaac. Their daughter, Kari, teaches music and directs choirs at Knob Noster Middle School in Knob Noster, MO. She and her husband, Jonathan Adams, live in Warrensburg, MO.

David began working with the Northwest church of Christ as an Assistant Minister in December 2013 and Pulpit Minister in July 2015. He also serves as a Homiletics instructor at the North Carolina School of Biblical Studies in Winston Salem, NC and is a board member of The Carolina Messenger.
